Breast Cancer Litigation

In recent years, Ms. Collopy has focused on breast cancer litigation, and has been particularly successful in that arena. She has represented clients whose claims have been based on a delay in diagnosis of breast cancer that has caused significant harm to the patient. The claims of the delay range from a radiological basis, (i.e., a mis-read mammogram or sonogram) to a clinical basis, (i.e., an alleged failure to obtain a diagnosis of a persistent breast mass). Many of her clients feel more comfortable with a female attorney advancing their claims in this subject matter.
